Leo Season
7/23-8/22/2021
Courage, dear heart
Cancer season is over. Say goodbye to the nurturing vibes we needed to tend to our feels, and hello to the bold, courageous vibes needed to put our passions and beliefs on display.
It’s Leo season.
The sign of Leo is the 5th sign of the zodiac. It’s ruling planet is the sun and it's characterized as the lion.
Both of these symbols are bold in nature.
The sun is a star that radiates from the very center of our solar system. It's rays sustain all life on Earth. A lion’s boldness comes from their fearlessness. They are confident and proud in their abilities as lions. This assuredness makes them stand out among the other animals and earn the title of King of the Jungle.
Leo season invites all those who hear the call to be as bold and courageous as it’s symbols. To be bold in your approach and courageous in your endeavors.
You’ve come so far and have been through so much. You’ve experienced a roller coaster ride of emotions and lived to tell the story. Everything that you’ve experienced in your life up until this point has prepared you for this time. And no matter where you find yourself, its the energy of Leo season that reminds us to have courage.
To be brave and continue on.
It’s not an easy thing to come out of the shadow of your feels into the spotlight. The transition from Cancer to Leo season may be more dificult for some than others. But the apostle Paul tells us:
In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence.
Ephesians 3:12
Don’t let any condemning thoughts keep you from approaching God with freedom and confidence.
Side note/back story on Paul - He was a Jewish scholar who started out as one of the biggest persecutors of the Christain faith in the first-century world, but later on became one of the most vital components to spreading the Gospel. Paul had a lot in his past that he could choose to feel condemned for. But instead he got to the other side and was/is encouraging all of us to lay down condemnation and be confident.
There’s no shame in what you need from God. Shame and guilt Are not of Him. Fear is not from Him.
The spirit of fear I believe is weakest during this season. Use that to your advantage.
Ask God for what you need. Approach Him boldly, and be confident that what you ask from Him, He will provide.
“And the peace of God (confidence), which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:7
A peaceful heart is a brave heart.
So lets Care Bear stare our way right through Leo season, and God promises us:
He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun.
Psalm 37:6
